Year 2000

It's hard to believe we're leaving this century/millennium. Microsoft has already announced 2 new Windows Operating Systems for the new millennium, Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium. So if you think your PC will crash New years day, you'll just have to wait for these to be released. Although it would make sense for Windows 2000 to be the successor to Windows 98, it's actuall the successor to Windows NT 4.0, and Windows Millennium is the successor to Windows 98. Windows Millennium is supposed to have way more multimedia features, whereas Windows 2000 will have more advanced server/workstation enhancements.
